Credit Risk Analyst - Contract role - Belfast
MCS Group is looking for a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join a highly renowned financial services firm based in Belfast. This is a brand-new contract job opportunity.

Our client is a long-established investment service provider connecting institutional buyers and sellers globally - providing broking services, intermediation across various markets, data and analytics, digital asset derivatives and much more.

The Role:
As the successful Credit Risk Analyst, you will support the management of credit and market risk across the US region:
Key role in the oversight of credit and market risk across US region - escalation of breaches, issues
Setting and monitoring credit limits in line with risk appetite - managing limit structures impact versus overall risk exposure
Monitoring counterparty utilisation and outstanding trades
Management of limit exceptions and risk-based credit limits
Tracking pre-trade credit limits and exposure on e-trading platforms
Tracking and escalating market risk exposure that arises during broking process
Providing risk reports to internal stakeholders
The Person:
The successful Credit Risk Analyst will meet the following criteria:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role within financial services
Highly knowledgeable in market risk, multi-asset trading
Understanding of institutional credit risk management, counterparty exposure
Knowledge of equities, fixed income, listed derivatives is advantageous
Wholesale financial markets experience is desirable
