Rolling out Platform Engineering teams in charge of maintaining the Internal Business Platform to ease developers' life and reduce time to market
Shaping the Cloud Native strategy and transformation plan to adopt those new operating models and transform their business applications to a platform model
Our Cloud Native Innovation Labs team will help customers from the initial inception phase down to the actual deployment of the Cloud Native capabilities.
Job Description
Your Roles & Responsibilities
As a Principal Cloud Native Advisor, you will be part of the Cloud Native Innovation Labs leadership team and will drive the executive relationship with our customers during their whole Cloud Native journey. You will also be accountable for the engagements to shape, define and execute the associated transformation programs.
Your activities will cover :
Promote and deliver the Cloud Native Innovation Labs services with our customers from the initial discussions to the implementation of the Cloud Native boosters
Act as a recognized thought leader on the Cloud Native Transformation as well as Platform Engineering topics
Lead the Cloud Native technical teams working on infrastructure, application, operational and platform topics
Work upfront with customers to understand their business, technical & transformation stakes around Cloud Native applications transformations
Shape and present the propositions to accompany our customers through this journey at each phase of their adoption : Inception, Prototyping, Activation & Acceleration
Act as a technical leader to coordinate all the Devoteam value accelerators to deliver the right value to our customers
Maintain the long term relationship with our customers executives by acting as a “Trusted Advisor” in this Cloud Native journey
Ensure the “At Scale” transition when handing over the acceleration to our managed services or application modernization teams
Support the personal development of our young technical and consulting talents on both hard and soft skills required in this new Cloud 3.0 world
Be accountable with the Cloud Native Innovation Labs director of the offerings roadmap
Act as a key player of the extended Devoteam Distributed Cloud community working with our value accelerators as well as our 5 Cloud pillars
Qualifications
Your Background & Skills
You have more than 15 years experience both in technical and consulting roles including Cloud transformation programs, ideally including a CTO role. In particular, you experienced the transformation of business applications landscape and operating models with Cloud Native technologies such as containers, microservices, APIs…
In your career, you have been exposed to :
Act as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) on a major Cloud transformation program
Drive large delivery technical teams on applications transformation programs
Tackle the issues brought at the infrastructure and operational level by Cloud Native technologies
Shape the application modernization programs by leveraging the 5 key pillars of Cloud Native transformation : Containers, Microservices, APIs, Orchestration and Modern Delivery
Be a Trusted Advisor in front of the customer board, especially the IT board of directors
Work with one or multiple major Public Cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure & GCP) as well as Private Cloud technologies leaders (RedHat, VMware)
Deliver programs with modern agile ways of working with the associated methods and frameworks (Agile, Safe, Kanban, ITIL, Lean, TOGAF…)
On the required soft skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
Experience of working in a time-constrained environment
Self-starter and highly motivated as well as analytical and logical
Excellent organisation skills as well as communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent at working with a variety of stakeholders
Strong team leader with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
