About

Azure Virtual Desktop Architect – Urgent Requirement

We are looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Architect to integrate new projects into an existing AVD environment as part of a large Digital Workplace initiative.

You will work with business teams to identify applications and firewall flows, validate their operation, and define system images and resource groups. Your role will also involve optimising installation processes with Nerdio, managing desktop images, and supporting the move to Azure ARC services.

Key responsibilities include creating architecture documents, troubleshooting technical issues, updating knowledge base articles, and ensuring smooth operation of AVD. Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Firewall, Windows 10/11, Intune, PowerShell, SCCM, and Azure NetApp is essential, along with experience in Terraform and GitLab.
