We are developing the Samurai 220H Machining Center to be launched this year and require an electrical engineer to lead the design and testing of the electrical cabinet.

Responsibilities
As the chief electrical design engineer, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings, bill of materials, and creating technical files to comply with CE, FCC regulations.
Design beautiful and functional control panels and electrical cabinets
Test prototypes and system capabilities
Find suitable suppliers / manufacturers of electronic components
Hands on work with prototypes, soldering, assembly e.c.t
Use of CAD software (Siemens NX, Capital X Panel Designer)

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong problem solving, physics knowledge, and math skills
Experience with machinery or other complex electronic products
Understanding of global safety regulations regarding electrical systems / machinery
Ability to learn without supervision, to tackle new problems

Notes
Candidates will be judged based on their ability to solve real world problems, not necessarily formal qualifications.
This is a long term position (>5 years)
You must be located (or able to relocate) near Leamington Spa, UK
Minimum 5 years experience with electronics
Candidates with more experience must be open to innovation

Salary: £50-80k

This role begins in June 2025.
