Job Specifications

Key Accountabilities:
Planning of an optical Fiber overlay network from exchange to Node leave and Node to Premise level.
Laying the Access Network (Blown fiber tube Between AGG Node to Fiber Distribution Point).
Placing the Fiber Equipment (Agg-Node, Splitter, Fiber Distribution point, CBT) and Joints.
Recording the Fiber Network connectivity in industry familiar tools.
Configuring Fiber between fiber equipment (Fiber Node configuration).
Using of Arc GIS tool we are build the network.
Enthusiastic, showing dedication to team working, being able to be flexible to changing demands, and be self-motivated.
Spatial Awareness, able to interpret and understand maps, diagrams and other spatial information available on different type of records
Experience in projects involved with Telecom utilities conversion.
Good understanding of the Telecom projects.

Core Capabilities / Technical Skills
Technical Descriptors

Data collation & analysis

Intermediate skills in Data collation, analysis and forecasting
Ability to manage and work with conflicting and discrete pieces of information.
Operating Systems
Ability to manage and use multiple systems
Any GIS product such as Microstation, AutoCAD 2000, MapInfo, ArcView, Smallworld, Network Engineer, BT systems would be beneficial, however training will be provided for suitable candidates

Network Architecture Knowledge

Underground Network Distribution Design
Overhead and Aerial Network Distribution Design
MDU Distribution Design (Brownfield)
Network Planning Policy and Dimensioning
Head-end Connections, OCR, ODF, CCJ, Spine Cables, Aggregation Nodes, Distribution Fibre Network, Splitter Nodes, Intermediate Joints (Small or Medium), CBTs, CBTs Overhead (including Aerial), CBTs Underground, CBT Combination & Dimensioning.

Qualifications/experiences:
Minimum 1+ year of experience working in the telecommunication industry (or similar).
Professional qualifications in engineering (Electronics & Communications or Electrical & Electronics) would be desirable.
