Principal Front-End Engineer

London (UK Remote - with the ability to join the team on occasion)

Now hiring a Principal Front-End Engineer to shape the future of AI-powered legal experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead and build beautiful, fast, user-focused apps and experiences
Solve complex problems and make key technical decisions
Own front-end best practices across multiple products
Drive the quality and consistency of UI/UX across platforms
Work in a fast-paced, product-driven, cross-functional team
Mentor engineers and influence engineering culture and hiring

You’ll thrive here if you:

Have deep experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind, TypeScript
Love building consumer products from the ground up
Have led projects in high-growth environments
Care deeply about clean design, usability and performance
Are driven by impact and motivated to reshape the legal system

Process: 4 Stage

Meeting with the Snr Talent Partner - Experience/ Motivations
Meet with VPE or COO - Situational Questions, Experience, Candidate Questions
Technical Challenge - Live - Decision Based and Logic, Q&A with VPE or Snr figure in the Team
Meet the C-Suite

Extras:

Strong Comp Sci Degree or STEM Degree 1st Class or a Masters / PhD
Should have experience in a significant scale up (crudely Series A >10mil)
Characteristics of those suited are those familiar with E2E development and ability to take ownership of delivery and strategy.
