Secondary Design Engineer (ICP) - P&C
Contract - Outside IR35 (Ltd)
6 months (long term work possible)
£Competitive

Responsibilities:
Subordinate to the Protection and Control Engineer, create Single Line Diagrams and Main Control/Protection designs.
Conceptual design of AC/DC schematics for contestable and private networks up to 132 kV for electrical protection systems
Developing a comprehensive secondary design that encompasses AC/DC, general arrangements, interconnection, and many block diagrams.
Creation of Core Sheets, Termination Diagrams, and Cable Schedules

Essential criteria:
5 years experience of in Secondary design
Experience with EHV substation projects up to 132kv
Experience with UK NGET and DNO
Skilled secondary design schemes using AutoCAD for 33, 66, and 132 kV systems.

Desirable criteria:
Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Direct experience working for an ICP or DNO in the UK
Familiarity with AutoCAD electrical work
