Wintel Engineer (FAS Engineer) MUST HOLD A VALID SC CLEARANCE (WILL SPONSOR YOU DV CLEARANCE)

Are you an experienced 3rd line or higher technical support specialist with skills in Wintel Engineering? Do you want to train to be a FAS Engineer? Are you ready to take your career to the next level and make a real impact?

We are looking for a Wintel Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career and train to be a FAS Engineer. You will join our team and support a range of military and functional applications. You will be responsible for incident management on our clients' live systems, handling escalated FAS app incidents from level 1/2 support teams, often working in remotely based environments.

Your role will involve collaborating with other embedded engineers to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the ongoing success of the system.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 3rd line support for FAS applications (e.g., NIRIS, ICC, JChat, LOGFAS, JOCWatch, TOPFAS).
Incident management on live systems in a fast-paced environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and issues.
Work closely with other technical teams to ensure systems are running smoothly.
Review documentation for installation and integration of software packages.
Ensure knowledge transfer and efficient workflow for military systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Wintel Engineering exp
All Microsoft applications and Software experience
Solid experience with Windows Server 2012/16/22, Windows 10, VMware, Solaris, HyperV, Powershell, and RedHat/Oracle.
Web Based Applications such as IAS, Java and Tomcat
Strong background in PKI, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Knowledge of Windows policies, firewall settings, and security configurations.

Desirable Skills

Experience with FAS applications (e.g., NIRIS, JChat, LOGFAS, JOCWatch, TOPFAS).
FAS Applications support experience.
Strong knowledge of technical documentation and process review.
Familiarity with incident management in complex environments.
