Are you a strategic and hands-on Product Lead with a passion for virtual worlds, monetisation, and social-first gameplay?

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Lead to guide the development and delivery of immersive, monetised virtual world games. This is a unique opportunity to shape the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and potentially extend into live operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F2P game mechanics, progression systems, and in-game economies. You’ll be responsible for setting the vision, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering experiences that drive player engagement, retention, and monetisation.

What you’ll be doing
Defining and executing the product vision and roadmap for virtual world games
Leading cross-disciplinary teams across design, art, and engineering
Developing monetisation strategies, including F2P systems, virtual goods, and progression mechanics
Overseeing project timelines, budget management, and delivery milestones
Coordinating user testing, analytics, and iterative development to optimise player experience
Managing the launch process and supporting the transition to live operations

What we’re looking for
Proven experience shipping virtual worlds or social-first games with F2P models
Deep understanding of in-game economies, player engagement mechanics, and retention loops
Proficiency in agile methodologies and comfort with fast-paced, iterative development
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate across disciplines
A data-informed mindset paired with creative problem-solving skills

Nice to have
Experience in live operations or community-led game development
Background in user-generated content systems or in-game creation tools
