Embedded Software Engineer – HVAC

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a cutting-edge technology company in London. This role offers the chance to take a leading position in the development of software and firmware for a groundbreaking, innovative heating solution.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing firmware and embedded systems to optimize the performance and efficiency of HVAC products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and deliver high-quality software solutions that adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement firmware for HVAC systems, focusing on smart control strategies.
Perform system integration to ensure smooth interaction between components.
Conduct testing and validation, including HiL simulations, bench testing, and field trials, to refine and validate software performance.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards for embedded systems.
Create technical documentation and provide detailed technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Proven experience in firmware development for HVAC products, with a strong focus on embedded systems and control strategies.
Expertise in thermoelectric and power electronics controls.
Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, with knowledge of non-linear control algorithms.
Simulation expertise using MATLAB or Simulink.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance for embedded systems in HVAC applications.
