Job Specifications

Data Scientist – Climate Tech | Python | London Hybrid | £Competitive + Equity
I’m partnering with an impressive climate tech startup that’s reshaping how the grid works and they’re looking for mission-driven data scientists to join their rapidly scaling team.

This isn’t a research lab, this is real-world machine learning making an impact today. Their software controls tens of thousands of energy assets (EVs, heat pumps, batteries), shifting usage to times when electricity is clean and cheap. Backed by tier-1 investors and growing fast.

What’s in it for you?
Huge ownership: Your code ships, your models go live, your ideas matter
Tough technical work: Time-series forecasting, optimisation, energy systems
Purpose: You’ll help reduce real-world emissions every day
Small, elite team where everyone wears multiple hats and gets in the weeds

Hybrid in London: 2–3 days a week in-office
Stack: Python, Streamlit, Docker, GCP, Figma

What they’re looking for:
Strong Python skills (you’ll ship production code, not just notebooks)
Confidence working with time-series data & energy datasets
Curiosity, drive, and the humility to build fast and learn faster
Bonus: Experience with power trading, or comfortable speaking with clients

If you’re a builder who’s hungry for impact and tired of just talking about climate, apply now!!
