My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformations & NextGen AI Solutions, with offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow (offering a 'flexi working model' of remote first or hybrid + ad hoc client site travel when required). Clients include Government, Finance, Retail & Energy sectors (among other private sectors).
They are looking for a Senior Consultant - DevOps/Cloud Advisory Consultant to join a rapidly growing team, leading & delivering multiple large scale cloud adoption/digital transformation projects within Government/Public and Private sector domains.
Primary responsibilities:
DevOps Capabilities: Assess, define, and implement DevOps capabilities to deliver innovation, agility, cost benefits, and improved time to market.
Holistic Modernisation: Modernise the developer experience across organization & culture, DevOps practices & processes, tooling & automation, and architecture & design.
Maximize Investments: Leverage and maximize clients' existing investments in ITSM tools and frameworks.
Roadmap Development: Develop roadmaps to improve DevOps maturity and unlock value through NextGen technologies like Generative AI and Platform Product Management.
Collaborative Transformation: Work with all organisational levels to innovate, design, and implement modern technologies, processes, and operating models, delivering sustainable transformations
Primary requirements:
Must be eligible for SC Clearance
Proven experience in DevOps Advisory, creating DevOps/Cloud Best Practice recommendations, strategies and solutions
Ability to define OKRs/KPIs, set up processes to measure and improve speed, productivity, and quality, and implement product-centric operating models.
Solid understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE, DevSecOps models, DevX, build and deployment pipelines, observability, and ITIL.
Proven experience leading/managing/mentoring a team of DevOps/SRE/Platform professionals.
Presales/Sales experience would also be highly advantageous (creating RFP's, Demos, Presentations as well as BD/new business generation).
