Chapman Tate Associates are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager with strong expertise in EDI systems—specifically Seeburger.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a contract professional to lead and manage a dedicated EDI development team in a high-impact environment.

Role Overview:
As Software Development Manager (EDI), you will be responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and ongoing optimisation of EDI solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data interchange between partners and internal systems, ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Requirements:
Proven experience managing software development teams with a focus on EDI.
In-depth expertise with Seeburger BIS (Business Integration Suite) is essential.
Strong understanding of data interchange standards and protocols (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML).
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.
Track record of delivering projects within a structured, Agile or hybrid methodology.
Previous experience within a contract role operating inside IR35.

Nice to have:
Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
Experience migrating or upgrading EDI platforms.
