We are looking for a passionate, experienced, dedicated, and organized Full Remote Solution Architect to join our European engineering team. The position requires someone who is adaptable to a changing environment and loves delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

For an international institution in Strasbourg, we are urgently looking for a remote Solution Architect.

This is a remote role. Candidates need to be based in Europe and in the possession of a work permit, due to occasional travel requirement to Strasbourg, France. Work permits are not provided.

This position is open for contractors. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Travel is not required for the interviews.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and manage priorities;
Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and increase business value;
Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;
Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;
Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan;
Implement the applications based on the architecture;
Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;
Provide advice to policymakers on digital implications of policy proposals;
Support the units in implementing the corporate data governance and management practices;
Contribute to the development of the methodological approach for digital-ready policymaking and technology adoption;

Profile:
Bachelor or Master degree;
+15 years of experience in IT overall.
+10 years of expertise in process management, functional analysis, enterprise architecture and data modelling;
+5 years of specific expertise corporate components of architecture;
Proven knowledge and practical experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, and Zachman;
Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN, and similar;
Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS;
Knowledge of XML and XSD;
Ability to give business and technical presentations;
Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
Fluent in English;
