Position: .Net Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Remote Work Possibility: yes (2-3 days a week on the client´s office)
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably
Mandatory Languages: English and French or Dutch, with the ability to work in a multilingual environment (FR/NL/EN)
Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.
As a Web Application Analyst-Programmer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, evolution, and maintenance of multi-user, high-availability, and high-visibility applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, evolve, maintain, and test web applications based on functional and technical specifications
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable development
Stay up to date with technological trends and best practices
Provide technical advice and propose project improvements
Write and maintain technical documentation
Offer technical support and coaching to colleagues
Work on both front-end and back-end components (including web services)
Contribute to the digital transformation and modernization of critical systems
Support cybersecurity efforts by implementing best practices in application security
Your Profile
Must-Have Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience
Strong experience in web development, particularly with PHP and modern frameworks
Proficiency in at least one of the national languages (French or Dutch) and the ability to work in a multilingual team
Resilient under pressure, discreet, and flexible
Client-oriented mindset
Technical Skills:
PHP 5.6 & 7
JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, JQuery
PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter
Template engine: Smarty
SQL
GIT and DevOps practices
RESTful Web Services (in PHP)
