Context

KVE is wholly owned by French company Daher, an aircraft manufacturer and supplier of aircraft components with a turnover of €1.3 billion by 2022. Daher designs and produces high-value-added solutions for its industrial partners.

In the role of financial controller, you report directly to the manager director of KVE and are responsible for managing all financial processes. You are the strategic discussion partner for the MT and operational managers. You will also work closely with the HR manager and Daher's head office in France.

What do we ask of you?

Responsibilities

As financial controller, you will help provide our organisation with good reporting and analysis. This keeps us as KVE in control of our financial flows. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

Providing financial and trend analyses for projects and operational managers, as well as supporting the preparation of (financial) business cases
Preparing and contributing to the monthly business reviews and actively following up on improvements together with the MT members
Managing and coordinating and ensuring the reliability of data feedback for the various management cycles, also for our parent company Daher
Optimise steering information and improve systems and procedures by means of financial dashboards (yet to be built)
Responsible for debtor management and proper financial and accounting information, in accordance with IAS standards
Active participation in various improvement projects, such as supporting and monitoring standardisation and improvement processes in the administrative organisation

Profile

What do you bring?

A completed Bachelor's degree in the field of business economics, finance & control or similar
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably in a complex industrial project environment such as the aerospace industry
Experience with various grant processes and financial reporting
Understanding of the main IFRS standards is an advantage
You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing, it would be an absolute advantage if you also master the French language
