Job Specifications

My remote based client are looking for a Test Automation Consultant to join their team on a 3 month contract (Outside IR35) to help their transition from manual to automated UI Testing. This role is remote, but requires an individual to be based within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Manual Testers to identify key UI Testing Automation opportunities
Design, Develop and maintain robust and scalable Playwright UI Test Automation Scripts
Integrate Automated Tests into their existing CI/CD Pipeline to support continuous testing
Support on other forms of testing including API, Performance and Regression
Get involved in defect triage and collaborate with developers and testers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manor.
Take charge of quality and best practice of Test Automation across the Team

You must have...

Proven experience writing and maintaining Test Automation scripts with Playwright (Javascript/Typescript preferred)
Solid understanding of UI Testing principles, frameworks and best practice.
Experience of integrating test automation into CI/CD Environments (Azure DevOps)
