Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Walloon Brabant, Belgium (1 day per week onsite, negotiable)
Daily Rate: Negotiable, up to €900 per day
Contract Type: Freelance/Contract
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects. The role will involve overseeing the design, implementation, and operation of complex infrastructure systems, ensuring all aspects are aligned with business needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead infrastructure projects including network upgrades, data center migrations, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration.
Oversee all project phases, from planning and design through to implementation and final delivery.
Manage stakeholder expectations, including internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical, operational, and financial aspects of the project.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including managing audits and documentation.
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks, and milestones.
Requirements:
5+ years of infrastructure project management experience, particularly in IT infrastructure, network management, data centers, or cloud computing.
Proven track record in managing complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of infrastructure systems including network, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluency in English, French (conversational)
Additional Information:
1 day per week onsite (negotiable).
Immediate start, 12-month contract with potential extension.
