UZ.IP is a revolutionary SaaS platform designed to simplify the management of proofs of use!
By combining advanced Artificial Intelligence with IP-specific domain knowledge, we simplify the life of our customers by ensuring their trademarks usage is always 2 clicks away from being proven.
The company is 2 years old, and these first years have been taken to build the platform and bring it to a production-ready state. We've signed a global distribution contract with a major worldwide player in the IP domain and we are now ready to deploy our fist customers. We have already ongoing discussions with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 enterprises, and the first deployments are expected for the summer 2025.
The team is currently made of 4 members: 2 IP professionals and 2 IT professionals, based in France.

We are looking for a Founding IT Engineer, to make us grow, take full ownership over our technical solution and help us absorb the workload linked to the first customers deployments.
We are a fully remote company, meaning this position is 100% remote, with no location requirements apart from being in a compatible timezone to work with France. The way we work is mainly asynchronous using well-known tools: Slack, Github, Google workspace, Trello.

Responsibilities
Ramp-up functionally and technically on the existing platform to master it
Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
Work primarily in Angular (front), Typescript (back) in an Azure ecosystem
Analyze, design and implement platform evolutions based on customers requests, bugs and internal product roadmap
Exchange with customers (both sync and async) to gather and understand their needs before translating it into concrete features
Be involved in the company strategic decisions along with the founding team
In the coming months, take responsibility over new IT recruitments, thus moving towards a management position, while always keeping "hands-on"

Required skills and qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in building B2B SaaS solutions, preferentially at scale
Perfect knowledge of node and typescript
Experience in working with MongoDB
Experience in working in Microsoft Azure environment
Experience in working RESTful APIs
Experience in working with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc)
Full professional English proficiency
Ability to exchange directly with customers and their IT departments
Ability to follow and sometimes redact technical specifications
Reactivity and flexibility

Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
Interest and first experience leveraging AI techniques, especially LLM usage and image analysis
Knowledge of Python
Knowledge of web security best practices
Technical writing skills (specifications)
