Senior Social Media & Content Marketing Manager – Founding Marketeteer
**Role Summary:**
Founding founder‑level marketer responsible for establishing and scaling brand presence, organic social growth, content strategy, and executive thought leadership for a B2B AI startup. Owns all organic social channels, content creation, podcast production, PR coordination, analytics, and cross‑functional stakeholder alignment to drive traffic, lead generation, and market perception.
**Expectations:**
- Grow LinkedIn engagement to 8‑15% within 6 months.
- Double followers on priority channels within 6‑9 months (5 k → 100 k+).
- Achieve 10‑20 k monthly organic visitors and make organic social a top‑2 traffic source.
- Deliver 1‑2 executive posts and 1 podcast episode weekly (clip‑first distribution).
- Attract measurable MQL/SQL share and AOV uplift from content campaigns.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, execute, and iterate full‑spectrum social strategy (LinkedIn, IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube).
- Plan content calendars, produce short‑form video, carousels, graphics, copy, landing page copy.
- Ghost‑write and publish weekly executive content (Top Voice level).
- Produce and distribute weekly podcast; create multi‑channel clips for amplification.
- Partner with PR agencies and journalists to secure thought‑leadership placements.
- Manage $200k/month marketing budget, tools, UTM hygiene, and GA dashboards.
- Measure reach, engagement, follower growth, web traffic, pipeline attribution; produce monthly insights deck.
- Develop scalable messaging frameworks, tone/visual system, creator/partner playbooks.
- Coordinate with Founder, Product, Design, and Sales to align messaging.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years as a first/early‑stage marketer in a VC/PE‑backed series A‑C SaaS or AI startup.
- Demonstrated organic social growth (5 k → 100 k+ followers, high engagement).
- Strong video production, copywriting, and content creation skills.
- Analytics proficiency (Google Analytics, funnel attribution, UTM setup).
- End‑to‑end content strategy expertise (storytelling, positioning, PR).
- Ability to build processes, scale systems, and own outcomes in high‑ownership environments.
- Comfortable with multi‑channel distribution, creative iteration, and data‑driven optimization.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- No mandatory certifications, but experience with analytics/marketing tools (GA, Hootsuite, Social Studio, etc.) is required.
