Job Description
Job title: Engineering Project Manager Role Summary: Provide centralized engineering expertise for major mobile construction/mining equipment projects. Drive sales support, technical feasibility, proposal development, project execution, and handover, while maintaining procurement efficiency, digital fleet tools, continuous improvement, and internal training. Expactations: 10+ years of experience in sales processes for large mobile construction/mining equipment; proven project management background; technical engineering degree; fluent in French and English; customer‑focused, goal‑oriented, autonomous, resilient, strong negotiator, structured communicator, relationship builder. Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering support for major projects and contracts (currently open‑pit mines, expanding to underground mining, large construction, quarries). • Develop and refine fleet proposals for complex sales projects. • Manage end‑to‑end project implementation, from contract award to operation handover. • Conduct technical and economic feasibility assessments for specific requests. • Define and control technical requirements to enable efficient purchasing from non‑OEM partners. • Create, update, and maintain tools and databases supporting core sales business. • Structure digital and fleet management system offerings. • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives with customers, OEMs, and internal teams. • Train and develop future project managers and the mining equipment sales force. Required Skills: Technical engineering knowledge, project management expertise, sales process understanding, procurement & vendor management, digital tool development, strong negotiation and reporting, team leadership, excellent written and oral communication in English and French, customer‑centric mindset, organization, resilience, proactive initiative. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, mining, or related field); PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred but not mandatory).
