Job Title: Sales Development Specialist
Role Summary:
Build and nurture the affiliate ecosystem for a SaaS platform, using proactive outbound prospecting and systematic onboarding to convert prospects into active promoters and maintain long‑term engagement.
Expectations:
- Hit weekly/monthly outreach, qualification, activation, and affiliate‑generated sales targets.
- Keep a robust pipeline of prospects and active affiliates in the CRM.
- Provide timely feedback to partnerships and marketing on field insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect new affiliates (creators, agencies, influencers) via email, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and community channels.
- Script, launch, and iterate personalized outreach sequences; track response rates.
- Convert inbound leads from lead‑gen specialists into active affiliate sign‑ups.
- Onboard new affiliates: explain the product, affiliate program, and promotional assets.
- Sustain regular communication, encouragement, and support to drive content creation and campaign participation.
- Monitor engagement metrics; ensure affiliates are actively promoting and optimizing their efforts.
- Build relationships to maximize retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM; generate reports on outreach volume, sign‑ups, activations, and sales KPIs.
Required Skills:
- 1–3 years SDR/BDR experience, preferably in SaaS, affiliate, or creator economy.
- Self‑starter with proven ability to prospect independently across email, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other channels.
- Strong relational and “farming” skills to nurture affiliates into active promoters.
- Excellent written and verbal persuasion, storytelling, and communication abilities.
- Organized and metrics‑driven; comfortable using CRM tools, outreach platforms, and tracking dashboards.
- Familiarity with affiliate programs, creator partnerships, or influencer marketing is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- No specific certifications required; proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach tools is highly valued.
