**Job Title:**
Segment Manager – Out of Home (12‑month FTC)
**Role Summary:**
National commercial leader responsible for driving growth and profitability across Out‑of‑Home (OOH) accounts (contract caterers, foodservice wholesalers, NHS, hotels, healthcare, travel). Leads a cross‑functional team and contributes to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and volume, NOS, and GP targets.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver OOH AOP volume, number of sales (NOS), and gross profit targets.
- Provide authentic leadership to 7 direct reports and ensure development plans are in place.
- Influence OOH strategy and align with broader JDE Peet’s business priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top customers and internal stakeholders.
- Execute S&OP processes, accurate forecasting, pricing, promotions, and cash‑flow management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Set and lead OOH national account strategy; contribute to AOP and VCP creation.
- Coach, mentor, and manage performance of the direct reports.
- Support Key Account Managers in major negotiations; act as escalation point.
- Develop proposals and secure approvals for business opportunities.
- Manage existing key customer relationships (including top‑3 accounts) and drive new business in wholesale and foodservice channels.
- Monitor market trends and customer performance; adjust strategy as needed.
- Lead S&OP delivery, ensuring accurate volume forecasts, cost pricing, promotion execution, accruals, and cash‑flow oversight.
- Foster collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Finance.
**Required Skills:**
- ≥5 years account management with major direct‑supply customers, proven business‑development record.
- Strong commercial acumen in impulse and foodservice channels; P&L ownership.
- Experience managing a team (line‑management).
- Entrepreneurial, growth‑mindset with ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and influencing abilities at senior levels.
- Structured approach to strategy development and implementation.
- Leadership, communication, planning, organization, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the coffee category and OOH metrics.
- Ability to build networks across all organizational levels.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- No specific certifications mandated; relevant professional training in sales/leadership is advantageous.
