We’re seeking an experienced and driven Group Key Account Manager for CPG.

In this role you will personally oversee one of our top three customer contracts, while coaching and developing one regional account manager and one sales assistant.

This role combines hands-on commercial ownership with team leadership ensuring sustainable growth, flawless operational excellence and strong long-term relationship building with key retailers.

You'll be part of our Sales team based in Brussels and will report directly into the Country Director.

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

Take the direct ownership of 1 of our top three customer contracts, managing joint business planning, negotiations and performance delivery
Lead, coach and develop 2 team members, fostering high-performance and collaborative culture
Maintain and build strong relationships with stakeholders and retailers
Develop and execute customer strategies that align both client and JDE Peet’s objectives
Drive revenue growth through different axis such as promotional planning and category management
You work in close collaboration with the Category/Customer Development Specialists and the shopper activation managers for the category input and the customer development
You develop and execute optimal promotional programs based on the marketing & sales plans
You manage the customer P&L and provide accurate forecasts, reporting and Business Reviews
You provide clear objectives and deliverables for the Field team
Monitor and be curious about market and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, HR and finance teams

For this role we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

You have a master’s degree in business or marketing or a related field
5+ years of experience in account management in FMCG, including direct customer ownership.
Proven success in leading top-tier retail negotiations and delivering revenue growth. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Experience in managing and coaching team members is a plus.
Strong analytical, financial and strategic planning skills
You have a natural curiosity, own your responsibility, can simplify complex manners and are a true team player.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment both with your customers as with your internal colleagues. You have a positive mindset, bringing the solution forward
Fluency in Dutch, French & English
