Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Infrastructure Engineer – 12 Month Fixed‑Term Contract **Role Summary** Lead design, implementation, and support of a global IT infrastructure spanning on‑premises HPE/Dell hardware, VMware vSphere, Azure Cloud, and hybrid management stacks. Provide third‑line support, project ownership, and mentorship for junior engineers while ensuring security, reliability, and compliance across Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑availability infrastructure solutions that meet business continuity and scalability needs. - Collaborate with Security Operations, Service Desk, and global IT teams to enforce best practices. - Guide, coach, and develop team members, fostering knowledge sharing. - Manage projects (hybrid cloud migrations, upgrades, new deployments) on time and within scope. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build, and maintain on‑premises and cloud infrastructure (HPE/Dell, VMware vSphere, Azure). - Administer Azure services – Entra ID, Azure MDM, and VMs. - Manage Windows/Linux server estate (AD, GPO, DNS, NPS, CA, SMTP, VMWare Horizon/Citrix). - Configure and optimise SCCM (Primary/Secondary sites, DP, CMG, Azure integration). - Maintain VDI (VMware Horizon, Citrix, OLVM) and ensure end‑user performance. - Own backup and DR strategy using Veeam and tape libraries. - Provide third‑line support and serve as escalation point. - Plan and execute infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations. - Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement. **Required Skills** - Deep Microsoft Stack expertise (AD, GPO, DNS, NPS, CA, SMTP). - PowerShell scripting and automation. - Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, Entra ID, Azure MDM, Windows Autopilot. - SCCM administration (DP, sites, CMG, Azure integration). - VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and at least one VDI platform (Horizon, Citrix, OLVM). - Enterprise server and storage hardware (HPE, Dell) and tape library management. - Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) server administration. - Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN) and routing protocols (OSPF). - Monitoring with Zabbix; asset discovery with Lansweeper. - Vulnerability and patch management with SO C collaboration. - Backup solutions – Veeam Backup & Replication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional certifications highly desirable: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (e.g., VCP‑Datacenter), or equivalent. - Experience with registration or aptitude for further certifications (e.g., MCSE, Veeam Certified Engineer) is a plus.

**Job Title:** VIP Desk Side Support Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide on‑site, desk‑side “white‑glove” support for high‑value enterprise customers.
