Provides strategic guidance while managing day‑to‑day HR operations, employee relations, workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives. **Expectations:** - 5–7 years of progressive HR experience (ideally HR Manager or Supervisor). - Proven expertise in UK employment law and cross‑border compliance. - Demonstrated influence with senior stakeholders in a matrix, multi‑country environment. - Resilient, agile, and accountable, balancing empathy with strong business focus. **Key responsibilities:** - Partner with senior leaders in the UK and Nordics to design and implement people strategies supporting business objectives and culture. - Lead employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with local and regional regulations. - Plan and roll out engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives. - Oversee core HR functions (recruitment, payroll, policy development) while managing long‑term projects. - Provide HR leadership across a matrix organization, acting as a trusted advisor on people matters. **Required skills:** - Strategic HR planning and execution. - In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and familiar with EU/Nordic regulations. - Strong stakeholder‑management and influence skills. - HR operations expertise (recruitment, payroll, policy compliance). - Employee‑relations competence (conflict resolution, negotiations). - Project management, balancing operational delivery with strategic initiatives. - Resilience, agility, empathy, and accountability. - Cross‑cultural communication and experience working in a matrix organization. **Required education & certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). - Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5/6, SHRM‑CP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
