Job Title: Junior Product Owner Role Summary: An entry‑level product ownership position focused on learning Agile practices, managing product backlog, and owning an early‑stage Asset Management platform. The role supports a senior product owner, collaborates with engineering, quality assurance, and professional services, and explores AI opportunities to enhance financial software. Expectations: - Transition from support to primary ownership of the Asset Management platform. - Grow proficiency in product strategy, backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, and stakeholder communication. - Apply analytical skills to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria. - Engage with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and local market requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Senior Product Owner in evolving multi‑tenant financial products and shaping the product roadmap. - Own and prioritise product backlog for the Asset Management platform, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals. - Translate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria. - Collaborate with engineering, QA, and professional services throughout sprint cycles (planning, refinement, review, release). - Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including group clients, to gather feedback and incorporate it into the roadmap. - Identify and evaluate AI and automation opportunities to improve product processing, decision‑making, and user experience. - Track product performance, collect metrics, and report progress to senior stakeholders. Required Skills: - Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management. - Analytical ability to understand complex problems and convert them into actionable requirements. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Interest in financial technology, digital lending, or insurance products. - Eagerness to learn end‑to‑end customer journeys and user‑centred design. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and adapt to changing priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, finance, or related field (preferred). - No specific certifications mandatory; exposure to Agile certifications (e.g., AIPM, Scrum Master) is a plus.
