**Job Title** Consultant – Energy Practice **Role Summary** Provide economics consulting services to governments, regulators, and energy companies on market and regulatory issues. Lead analytical work, client engagement, and team development. **Expectations** - Deliver high-quality, evidence‑based economic analysis on energy markets and policy. - Manage large workstreams, ensuring on‑time, consistent outputs. - Build and sustain strong client relationships; act as a trusted advisor. - Mentor junior staff and foster professional growth. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement analytical frameworks for complex energy market/regulatory challenges. - Translate economic theory into data‑driven, practical solutions. - Own significant workstreams: scope, quality control, scheduling, and delivery. - Conduct client scoping, presentations, and maintain long‑term communication. - Coach colleagues on analytical techniques and professional development. **Required Skills** - Strong background in energy economics (consultancy, regulator, or energy firm experience preferred). - Proven project management and communication skills; ability to influence clients. - Commercial awareness and sound judgment for value‑adding solutions. - Advanced data and analytical capabilities. - Fluency in French; English proficiency preferable. - Experience mentoring/supporting junior team members. - Willingness to contribute to related practice areas (telecoms, transport). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Economics, Energy Economics, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CEC, or equivalent) are a plus.
