**Job title:** IT Center of Excellence Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead the organization’s Center of Excellence to define and enforce standards for quality, testing, business intelligence, technical specialization, and functional/technical analysis. Drive the daily operations of four multidisciplinary teams, coach and develop talent, and report on performance, risks, and strategic improvements to the IT Director. Champion automation, data‑driven decision making, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable IT solutions that meet or exceed performance and reliability targets.
- Increase deployment velocity through process automation, test automation, and self‑service BI.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, NIS2, and organizational governance standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in Dutch, French, and English.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **People Management:** Hire, evaluate, coach, motivate, and retain four cross‑functional teams; conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- **Operational Oversight:** Prioritize backlog items, manage daily tasks, resolve escalations, and mitigate resource conflicts.
- **Process & Tool Governance:** Implement and enforce Agile/DevOps governance, test automation frameworks, data governance, and tooling (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Power BI).
- **Reporting & Strategy:** Deliver KPI dashboards, project status, risk logs, and strategic improvement recommendations to the IT Director; contribute to roadmap and capacity planning.
- **Compliance & Standards:** Monitor compliance with internal standards, GDPR, and NIS2; update policies as needed.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong leadership and people‑management (coaching, mentoring).
- Proven expertise in test automation, business intelligence, and technical analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps governance.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Power BI, and related tools.
- Robust communication in Dutch, French, and English.
- Strategic thinking, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of IT leadership experience (development/analysis).
- Relevant certifications preferred: PMP, Scrum Master, CBAP, ISTQB Advanced, or equivalent.
