**Job Title**
Performance Tester – Salesforce Scale (Performance Test & Environment Management Lead)
**Role Summary**
Lead and execute performance testing for large‑scale Salesforce environments using Salesforce Scale Test (or equivalent tools). Manage the full non‑production landscape across Salesforce, MuleSoft, web/digital platforms, and integration middleware. Coordinate data readiness, integration stability, and environment governance while serving as the central point of contact for performance‑related activities.
**Expectations**
- 5–10+ years of hands‑on performance testing or environment management experience.
- Proven expertise with Salesforce (preferably Financial Services Cloud or large enterprise orgs).
- Ability to design realistic test scenarios, handle high concurrency, and produce accurate KPI benchmarks.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with DevOps, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
- Commitment to maintaining environment standards, deployment schedules, and governance processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Performance Testing** – Lead Salesforce Scale testing; define workloads, concurrency levels, and KPIs; benchmark core objects, automations, and FSC functionality.
2. **Environment Management** – Own non‑production environments for Salesforce, MuleSoft, web/digital platforms, WealthView, and integration middleware; maintain calendars, code deployments, refresh schedules, and access controls.
3. **Data & Integration Readiness** – Coordinate with Data, DevOps, and Integration teams to load realistic test data; validate data integrity; ensure new integration pipelines are tested for stability, load, error handling, and throughput.
4. **Stakeholder Coordination & Governance** – Act as primary liaison for performance and environment issues; enforce standards and processes; facilitate communication across Salesforce, MuleSoft, QA, Infrastructure, and vendors.
**Required Skills**
- Performance testing tools: Salesforce Scale Test, LoadRunner, JMeter (or similar).
- API performance testing and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, message queues, batch jobs).
- Salesforce platform expertise (FSC or large orgs), including data migration and volume testing.
- MuleSoft experience and understanding of integration middleware.
- Ability to analyze performance logs, heap dumps, API traces, and integration logs.
- Environment & DevOps knowledge: multi‑system non‑prod environment management, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, troubleshooting across components.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred certifications: ISTQB Performance Tester, LoadRunner/JMeter certification, Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder, MuleSoft Certified Developer.
