**Job Title**: Quality Conformance Engineer **Role Summary**: Ensure product conformity and reduce non‑conformance across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Job Description
**Job Title:** Quality Conformance & Lineside Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead and support quality engineering efforts for major aircraft modifications, STEP modifications, development programmes, and industrial transfers. Ensure full industrialisation, APQP application, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle with a focus on prevention, surveillance, and inspection. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust quality solutions for high‑volume production at current and ramp‑up rates. - Embed quality from design through serial manufacture. - Demonstrate strong stakeholder communication and on‑site lineside support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Industrialise quality for major modifications, STEP mods, incremental & full developments, and major industrial transfers. - Deploy APQP methodologies, define preventative quality methods, and support modification processes. - Facilitate FMEA (design, process, machine), create & maintain control plans, and execute production process verification (PPV). - Cascade Key Characteristics (KC) & Critical Items (CTI) and integrate quality in all reviews (risk, planning, stakeholder). - Provide lineside support during test campaigns, Head of Version manufacturing, and Start‑of‑Production phases. - Lead cost‑of‑non‑quality forecasting, mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Support Production Organisation Approval (POA) activities and maintain high product safety focus. **Required Skills:** - Strong quality engineering experience with hands‑on APQP tools and methods. - Manufacturing or industrial environment experience; on‑site lineside support capability. - Excellent stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills. - Knowledge of FMEA, control plans, PPV, and industrialisation processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Formal qualifications are not mandatory; prioritised experience in quality engineering. - APQP training or equivalent practical knowledge is essential. - Aviation or aerospace industry experience is desirable; automotive experience considered transferable.
