Job Title: Genesys Developer
Role Summary: Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise‑grade IVR, call flows, web messaging, and bot flows within Genesys Cloud CX. Lead modernization of contact center solutions, integrate backend APIs, and collaborate across business and technical teams in an Agile environment.
Expactations: Deliver high‑quality call flow and bot projects on schedule; maintain and troubleshoot production environments; provide clear acceptance criteria; contribute to sprint planning, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and orchestrate IVR, call flows, bot flows, authentication flows, and routing logic using Genesys Cloud CX Architect.
- Develop and integrate REST/JSON/GraphQL web services and cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda) to extend Genesys capabilities.
- Create and maintain agent scripts, data tables, schedules, and routing tables.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing; document test plans and outcomes.
- Resolve production incidents, isolate defects, and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Middleware, Salesforce, and cross‑functional partners to align technical design with business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies—Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Retrospectives, and Delivery reviews.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Genesys Cloud CX (PureCloud) development experience.
- Proficiency with Genesys Cloud Architect for call flow and bot creation.
- Strong API integration knowledge (REST, JSON, GraphQL); experience with OAuth, SAML, and other auth standards.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and serverless functions (Lambda).
- Experience configuring Genesys components: agent scripts, routing tables, schedules, data tables; ability to interpret and extend scripts.
- Agile delivery mindset; collaborative communication with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills in a high‑volume contact center environment.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Genesys Cloud Architect Certification or equivalent certifications (preferred).
