Vice President Enterprise Architecture, Engineering & Development
**Role Summary**
Lead the enterprise architecture, engineering, and development strategy, driving scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. Oversee large‑scale digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, data‑driven decision making, and adoption of AI/ML and emerging technologies across a global organization.
**Expectations**
- Define and execute the enterprise architecture blueprint across applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Champion a culture of engineering excellence, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver high‑performance application platforms and data solutions that meet strategic business goals.
- Drive AI, analytics, and emerging tech adoption to create competitive advantage.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modern patterns (microservices, event‑driven, serverless).
- Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable, cloud‑native applications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Architect modern data platforms enabling self‑service analytics, governance, and data literacy.
- Spearhead AI/ML initiatives using platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs.
- Build and manage a high‑performing team of architects, engineers, and data professionals.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Allocate and manage technology budgets, present progress to executive leadership, and influence strategy.
**Required Skills**
- Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD pipelines.
- Data architecture and analytics (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- AI/ML ecosystems (Azure ML, Databricks, SageMaker, OpenAI).
- Agile and DevOps practices; microservices, event‑driven, serverless design.
- Security architecture, privacy regulations, compliance frameworks.
- Budgeting, vendor management, executive communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- MBA or executive education in digital transformation preferred.
- Relevant certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Kubernetes, security certifications (CISSP, CISM) highly desirable.
