Job Description
**Job Title:** Associate Project Manager **Role Summary:** Support the National Programmes Team in delivering high‑profile construction and public‑sector projects from inception through to completion. Provide project management services, client liaison, and business development support while maintaining rigorous compliance and value‑creation standards. **Expectations:** - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. - Proactively identify and implement cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities. - Build trust with clients and secure repeat business through excellent performance. - Contribute to the development of competitive fee proposals and RFP responses. - Represent the team confidently in client meetings and industry forums. **Key Responsibilities:** - Champion value‑for‑money initiatives across project portfolios. - Execute tasks in line with established processes and best practices. - Lead and support project delivery, collaborating with Project Management Partners. - Prepare RIBA stage reports, programme schedules, progress reports, and client presentations. - Manage multi‑disciplinary project teams, meetings, minutes, and contract documentation. - Administer NEC and JCT contracts and navigate framework agreements. - Uphold Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality (EHSSQ) compliance. **Required Skills:** - Proven project management experience in construction/public‑sector projects. - Strong knowledge of RIBA stages, NEC and JCT contracts, and framework agreements. - Ability to prepare detailed reports, programmes, and contract documents. - Effective stakeholder and client communication, including representation at interviews. - Business development acumen, especially in the public‑sector context. - Familiarity with EHSSQ compliance and quality assurance. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. - Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly desirable. - Valid UK working rights.
