Senior Solution Architect
**Role Summary**
Design and implement enterprise data mesh and data lake solutions using Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS. Develop reusable data management and integration patterns, provide technical leadership to data engineering teams, and collaborate across business and delivery functions to deliver measurable analytics value.

- Create and enforce data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Optimize pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Lead cross‑functional technical discussions, architecture reviews, and governance processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement data mesh and lake solutions, focusing on ingestion, validation, and orchestration.
- Create reusable data management and integration patterns; present them in architectural review boards.
- Provide technical leadership and best‑practice guidance to the data engineering team.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to build scalable analytics solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and best practices.
- Optimize data pipelines, queries, and infrastructure configuration to improve system performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, compliance, and contingency planning.
- Lead domain‑level technical and business discussions on future architecture directions.
- Identify organizational requirements for resources, structures, and cultural changes to support initiatives.
- Lead multiple architectural engagements, develop business cases, and communicate domain‑wide policies.
- Conduct research and evaluation of emerging technology solutions.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools: Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, AWS services (EC2, S3, Glue, Athena).
- Expertise in data‑mesh, data‑lake, data‑infrastructure patterns, and data governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to build and lead high‑performance data engineering teams.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise business processes.
- Advanced consulting skills, strategic thinking, and emerging technology awareness.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and operating data and analytics solutions in enterprise settings.
- (Optional) Relevant certifications in AWS, Databricks, or data‑governance platforms can be an advantage.
