Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Angular & Python)
Role Summary: Remote, contract‑based engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a data‑driven web platform that tracks AI tool usage metrics across the organization. Works across front‑end, back‑end, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure to deliver a scalable, low‑latency solution.
Expectations: 6‑month contract, remote, must be eligible for W2 employment. Works independently, makes rapid decisions, and handles urgent issues in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Design, implement, and deploy FastAPI microservices.
- Build reusable UI components and scalable cloud‑native services.
- Design and support data pipelines in Databricks (Unity Catalog, Jobs).
- Manage data promotion across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Participate in the complete SDLC: design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.
- Engage with Azure cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Develop subject‑matter expertise in supported systems and propose continuous improvements.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience with Angular (TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for back‑end services.
- Strong RESTful API integration and microservices architecture experience.
- 3+ years with Databricks, data engineering, schema design, Unity Catalog, and job orchestration.
- 3+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in a cloud environment.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on Azure.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.
- Agile software delivery experience and familiarity with sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent technical communication and the ability to work autonomously.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
- No specific certifications required, but experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Databricks is essential.
