Job Title: Sr Manager, Global Security & Investigations
Role Summary:
Lead and manage investigative and security operations for a global organization, overseeing workplace incidents, venue security, third‑party providers, and executive protection while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Expectations:
• Exercise decisive leadership during high‑risk incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Maintain professional, discreet, and lawful investigative processes and documentation.
• Develop and implement risk‑management and prevention strategies across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations of workplace violence, theft, fraud, misconduct, threats, safety incidents, and policy violations.
- Serve as primary decision‑maker during escalated incidents; liaise with police, fire, and emergency services.
- Maintain case files, evidence logs, chain‑of‑custody records, and incident reports.
- Identify security risks, develop incident‑response playbooks, and promote SOPs.
- Oversee physical security programs for venues, including staff and contract teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and third‑party security vendors.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for security operations.
- Coordinate with the Global Security Operations Center for monitoring, escalations, and crisis response.
- Plan global travel security protocols, risk assessments, and executive protection.
- Design event‑specific security plans (access control, crowd management, emergency response).
- Train and lead in‑house and contract teams during events and special occasions.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Operations, Facilities, IT, and leadership on sensitive matters.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of security or law‑enforcement experience; 7+ years in a corporate security leadership role.
- Proven expertise in complex investigations and coordination with law‑enforcement agencies.
- Strong risk‑management, incident‑response, and preventive strategy development.
- Experience managing event, travel, and executive security operations across multiple venues or regions.
- Ability to lead and align in‑house and contract security teams, ensuring consistent investigative standards.
- Excellent communication, decision‑making, and crisis‑management skills.
- Proficiency in case documentation, evidence handling, and report writing.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Law‑enforcement or investigative training (e.g., police academy, investigative courses) preferred.
