Job Description
**Job Title** Software Engineering Specialist (C#) **Role Summary** Provide software development and validation support for test and automation solutions in an electronics manufacturing environment. Deliver reliable, performance‑validated C# and TestStand code while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams. **Expectations** - Deploy and maintain production‑grade software solutions for test equipment. - Ensure consistent validation, documentation, and process integration. - Identify and resolve technical issues promptly in a fast‑paced setting. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, test, and maintain C# and NI TestStand applications for electronic test automation. - Debug and resolve software defects in TestStand/C# environments. - Validate software to meet reliability and performance criteria. - Support the creation of test plans, procedures, and work instructions. - Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on test and validation architecture. - Coordinate procurement, integration, qualification, and installation of software and hardware solutions. - Contribute to process optimization and efficiency improvements across testing workflows. - Collaborate with instrumentation specialists (Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters). **Required Skills** - Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming (OOP). - Proficiency in C# and NI TestStand; familiarity with MS SQL is advantageous. - Experience with software validation and documentation in manufacturing settings. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software systems quickly. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and a self‑driven work ethic. - Adaptability to rapidly changing technical requirements. - Basic understanding of electronics and manufacturing systems. - Optional: LabVIEW/VEE experience. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - No specific industry certifications required; technical competency and hands‑on experience are essential.
