Location: Concord, ON (Onsite – 300 Applewood Crescent)

Duration: 11 Months

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Specialist to join our Test Engineering (TE) Team, supporting the development of test and automation solutions in an electronics manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to production systems, software validation, and process optimization while working with a highly experienced engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software solutions using C# and TestStand
Debug and resolve software issues in C# and TestStand
Validate software functionality to ensure reliability and performance
Support development of test and automation solutions for electronics manufacturing
Assist with production and software validation processes
Collaborate with engineers on test and validation design reviews
Implement software and hardware solutions, including procurement, integration, qualification, and installation
Create and update work instructions for test processes
Contribute to process optimization and development efficiency improvements
Preferred Background
General knowledge of electronics
Basic understanding of manufacturing systems
Experience with instrumentation such as Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, and Multimeters
Exposure to engineering project development and support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
Experience with C#, TestStand, or MS SQL
LabVIEW / VEE experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
