Job Description
Job title: ServiceNow Administrator Role Summary: Administer and configure ServiceNow across ITSM, CSM, and FSM landscapes, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business processes. Act as liaison between IT and business stakeholders to drive automation, workflow improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. Expectations: Deliver reliable platform operations, maintain high availability, and proactively enhance system efficiency. Provide expert support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users. Successfully integrate ServiceNow with third‑party tools via APIs and manage change, incident, and request workflows. Key Responsibilities: • Daily administration of ServiceNow users, roles, access control, and licensing. • Execute routine maintenance, health checks, and performance monitoring. • Troubleshoot stability issues and apply fixes or escalation. • Configure Incident, Change, and Request Management modules; build custom workflows, UI policies, business rules, and reports. • Design, develop, and maintain Service Catalog, Service Portal, and custom dashboards. • Integrate ServiceNow with external applications using APIs and integration hubs. • Deliver user support, training materials, and documentation. • Identify and implement process automation opportunities to improve ITSM effectiveness. Required Skills: • 4+ years as a ServiceNow Administrator or equivalent. • In‑depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and related modules. • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. • Proficiency in scripting, UI Policy/Action creation, and workflow design. • Experience with API integrations and integration hubs. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work abilities. • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Ability to multitask, handle high‑priority requests, and work occasional evenings/weekends. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred).
