Job Specifications

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Administrator. This is a full-time permanent hire onsite/hybrid role in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina with our client. In this role as a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, administering, and supporting ServiceNow platform and other like platforms, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively meets the organization’s needs. You will work closely with IT service management, operations teams, and other stakeholders to enhance and maintain our applications and system, improve workflow automation, and support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities for a ServiceNow Administrator:

Manage day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user accounts, roles, access controls, and licensing
Perform regular maintenance and health checks to ensure optimal performance
Monitor system stability, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Support and administer ServiceNow or any enterprise ITSM, CSM and FSM package software
Be the key touch point and liaison between the business and IT for ServiceNow platform
Work on payment system and payment devices
Configure ServiceNow applications to meet business needs, including Incident, Change, and Request Management modules
Design and implement workflows, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and other customizations
Manage integrations with third-party applications and tools via APIs and integration hubs
Service Catalog and Request Management:
Develop and maintain the Service Catalog and Service Portal, including items, forms, and workflows
Create and manage custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to support decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the platform
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to optimize IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows
Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with issues and troubleshooting
Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and user guides

Required Skills as a ServiceNow Administrator:

4+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
ServiceNow Administrator Certification preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Extensive problem-solving ability & technical knowledge in retail technology
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to multitask and balance several competing priorities
Ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
