Job Description: **Job Title:** AWS Onsite Lead **Role Summary** Act as the primary technical liaison between client and offshore teams, delivering cloud solutions through AWS. Ensure technical excellence, operational stability, and alignment with business goals. **Expectations** 8–12 years’ experience with advanced AWS expertise, leadership in onsite technical teams, and stakeholder management capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as primary point of contact for AWS initiatives, translating business requirements into technical strategies. - Design, implement, and optimize AWS architectures (security, scalability, cost efficiency). - Lead infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline reviews. - Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues. - Coordinate offshore teams for development, migrations, and support. - Govern cloud compliance (AWS Well-Architected Framework, ISO/SOC2 standards) and cost optimization. - Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch. - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins). - Networking expertise (VPC design, Direct Connect, load balancers). - Monitoring/logging frameworks and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) knowledge. - Leadership in distributed teams, stakeholder communication, and cross-timezone collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
