Job Title: AI Agent Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate internal workflows, improve business efficiencies, and drive product innovation. Work closely with product, tech, sales, and customer success teams to identify use cases, develop MVPs, and iterate solutions. Own the full cycle from discovery through production and monitoring.
Expactations:
- Minimum 4 years in AI/ML or software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience building LLM‑based agents, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, and related architectures.
- Proven production deployment of AI solutions to end users.
- Strong Python, SQL, and ML framework skills (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business processes and design AI agents to automate them.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scope experiments, validate use cases, and define success metrics.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery: requirement capture, prototype, MVP launch, and subsequent iterations.
- Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and tooling to accelerate future agent development.
- Establish monitoring, evaluation, and testing pipelines for AI models in production.
- Stay current on emerging AI techniques, evaluate new tools, and maintain a technology watch list.
- Ensure secure, scalable deployment on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) using containers and orchestration.
Required Skills:
- AI/ML: LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector search, retrieval pipelines.
- Software Engineering: Python, SQL, version control (Git), CI/CD, unit/integration testing.
- Ops & Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, model serving frameworks, monitoring dashboards.
- Cloud & Data: Cloud services (compute, storage, ML pipelines), data pipelines, observability.
- Communication: Clear documentation, stakeholder engagement, cross‑team collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Optional: Advanced degree or certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS AI/ML, Azure AI Engineer).
