**Job Title:** IT Infrastructure Architect – CI/CD & Cloud Platform
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, evolution, and vendor‑independent modernization of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a critical public‑sector digital justice platform. Partner with enterprise architects, development teams, and ICT managers to ensure high application uptime, secure, scalable, and efficient delivery pipelines.
**Expectations:**
- 5+ years as an IT Infrastructure Architect in a public‑sector environment (preferably Belgian Federal Justice).
- Proven expertise in automated CI/CD, Azure PaaS/IaaS, Azure AD, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Security clearance at Secret level or equivalent (ANS, NATO, or European institutions).
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines; implement incident logging, performance monitoring, and logging tools (Elastic, Grafana).
- Reduce vendor lock‑in by transitioning infrastructure to vendor‑agnostic solutions (RedHat, VMWare, nginx, Rancher, Kubernetes).
- Design, document, and implement global technical ICT architecture aligned with functional needs.
- Define and enforce technical standards for cloud ICT, covering security, performance, and scalability.
- Monitor incidents with dev teams, optimize application uptime, and conduct post‑incident reviews.
- Author technical sections of business analyses and system architecture documents.
- Evaluate and propose cloud ICT solutions, including CI/CD enhancements, cost estimates, and implementation schedules.
- Plan, track, and report on quality, performance, specification compliance, and testing deliverables.
**Required Skills:**
- Automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Cloud platforms: Azure PaaS/IaaS, Azure AD.
- Container & orchestration: Rancher, Kubernetes, Helm, Kube‑spray.
- Configuration & IaC: Terraform (preferred), Git, Docker.
- Monitoring & logging: Elastic Stack, Grafana.
- Server & virtualization: RedHat, VMWare, nginx.
- Secrets management: HashiCorp Vault (preferred).
- Distributed tracing: Jaeger (preferred).
- Service mesh: Istio (preferred).
- ITSM/ITIL frameworks (knowledge).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- MCSA/MCTS Windows Server or equivalent professional experience.
- Security clearance (Secret or higher).
- Multilingual: French, Dutch, English (active proficiency).
