Job title: Medior IT/Functional Analyst
Role Summary:
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements into functional analyses, user stories, and test scenarios for both frontend and backend digital applications. Ensure clear communication, requirement validation, and delivery quality within a modernisation program of social support services.
Expectations:
• Convert business needs into structured functional analysis and detailed user stories.
• Validate and present analyses with stakeholders, ensuring alignment before development.
• Guide development teams through implementation details and support sprint activities.
• Lead internal validation sessions, workshops, and customer-facing demos.
• Manage test scenarios, automated test follow‑up, and functional testing in the integration environment.
• Monitor operational issues via Jira, handling incident tickets and production feedback.
• Assist project leadership with planning, workload distribution, prioritisation, and progress reporting.
• Analyse change requests, conduct impact assessments, and communicate findings to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document functional analyses and user stories in Jira with precise acceptance criteria.
- Present analyses to business stakeholders and obtain sign‑off.
- Explain Jira items to developers, providing functional clarification during sprints.
- Lead validation sessions, walkthroughs, and analysis workshops.
- Define and execute functional test scenarios on the INT environment.
- Support development teams with clarifications and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with project leaders, analysts, business users, and management.
- Prepare and conduct customer meetings, demos, and status updates.
- Monitor Jira tickets and production surveys, following up on operational issues.
- Analyse change requests, perform impact assessments, and communicate results.
- Assist in workload planning, prioritisation, and progress reporting.
Required Skills:
**Functional & Analytical** – Minimum 3 years as a Functional Analyst, 2+ years in software development analysis; strong knowledge of analysis methodologies, best practices, functional design, user story creation, and acceptance criteria; expertise in UML and BPMN; experience with Jira and Confluence.
**Technical** – Good understanding of SQL; familiarity with Java, Git, SVN; familiarity with CI/CD, continuous integration, and TDD principles; ability to work effectively with development teams.
**Additional** – Experience with data exchange standards or integrations; knowledge of governmental data exchange (e.g., KSZ); familiarity with test automation pipelines.
Required Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience; fluent or native Dutch language proficiency.
