Role Summary:
Lead analytical and strategic initiatives to identify, quantify, and prioritize profitable growth opportunities across industry verticals. Translate complex data sets into actionable market intelligence, executive-ready dashboards, and strategic recommendations that shape pricing, product, and go‑to‑market decisions. Collaborate closely with sales, pricing, and revenue teams to evaluate conversion potential and competitive positioning.
Expectations:
- 5–8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, strategy, market intelligence, or revenue management.
- Commercial mindset with proven ability to communicate insights through clear, data‑driven storytelling.
- Advanced analytical and modelling skills (market sizing, forecasting, financial modelling).
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Preferred background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or B2B services with strong knowledge of the Canadian market.
- Operate effectively with minimal supervision and deliver high‑quality insights on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vertical analysis to identify, size, and prioritize growth opportunities and emerging trends.
- Perform market sizing, share‑of‑wallet, and attainable share assessments to inform strategic planning.
- Develop insights into customer shipping behaviour, demand patterns, and market dynamics to support commercial strategy.
- Partner with Sales, Pricing, and Revenue Management to evaluate conversion potential, competitive positioning, and service differentiation.
- Monitor competitive intelligence, macroeconomic forces, and industry shifts impacting customer demand.
- Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide pricing, product, and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Deliver compelling dashboards, presentations, and executive‑ready narratives that align cross‑functional teams.
Required Skills:
- Advanced modelling: market sizing, forecasting, financial modelling.
- Data analysis: SQL, Power BI, and other visualization tools.
- Strategic storytelling: translate analytics into executive‑level recommendations.
