Job Description
Job title: Associate Project Manager Role Summary: Entry‑level project management role focused on supporting the implementation of client integrations for small e‑commerce merchants (GMV <$300K). Works under senior Project Managers, managing a small portfolio of projects and serving as the primary point of contact for clients during engagement to launch. Expectations: - Minimum 1 year experience in project coordination, implementation, or related B2B role. - Strong English written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to understand technical concepts, including web technologies, eCommerce platforms, and system integrations. - Highly organized, detail oriented, with capacity to juggle multiple tasks concurrently. - Comfortable operating within structured processes, following defined guidelines, and escalating issues appropriately. - Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams. - Flexible to support critical delivery phases as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Support end‑to‑end client integration projects from engagement to launch following established project plans and templates. - Manage a small number of simple integrations, coordinating internal touchpoints (Development, Product, Infrastructure, Integrations). - Serve as guided customer‑facing contact, providing regular status updates and next steps. - Coordinate and track project tasks across teams using predefined workflows. - Monitor timelines, deliverables, and dependencies; proactively raise risks or delays. - Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders. - Assist in issue identification and resolution, managing client expectations. - Maintain accurate project documentation and align with delivery standards. Required Skills: - Project coordination / implementation experience. - Proficiency in English communication (written & verbal). - Technical aptitude: familiarity with web technologies, eCommerce platforms, and system integrations. - Strong organization, detail orientation, and multitasking abilities. - Process adherence, risk escalation, and problem‑solving skills. - Interpersonal and collaborative communication with cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No mandatory PM certifications required, but PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
