**Job Title**
Tech Lead – Deputy Project Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and manage Tier 1–3 IT infrastructure support programs for government agencies. Provide technical leadership, project management, and cross‑functional coordination to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.
**Expectations**
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in technical leadership and project management.
- PMP certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Strong command of project management methodologies (ITIL, Agile).
- Ability to manage distributed teams and maintain service level commitments.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Plan, execute, and monitor IT infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with regulations, security standards, and performance SLAs.
2. Oversee technical teams, providing direction for design, implementation, and delivery of Tier 1–3 services.
3. Develop capital business case narratives and governance deck presentations.
4. Coordinate work streams, monitor progress against schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
5. Provide technical guidance on complex application features, designs, and integration.
6. Produce data‑driven dashboards, risk matrices, and KPI reports for leadership.
7. Lead automation and process‑improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
8. Interpret technical documentation, SLA contracts, and incident management processes.
**Required Skills**
- **Project Management:** PMP, strong scheduling, resource allocation, risk management.
- **Technical Proficiency:** ITIL, networking, servers, cloud (AWS/Azure), incident escalation, configuration management.
- **Tools:** MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, monitoring & ticketing systems, advanced Excel, reporting dashboards.
- **Compliance & Security:** ISO, SOC, NIST standards, regulatory requirements for multi‑site operations.
- **Data Analysis:** Trend analysis, KPI tracking, preventive action recommendations.
- **Soft Skills:** Leadership & influence, stakeholder communication, problem solving, decision making under pressure, adaptability, collaborative mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or 6 years equivalent experience).
- PMP certification (mandatory).
- ITIL Foundation (preferred); Scrum Master, AWS/Azure/Cisco certifications are advantageous.
