Job Description
**Job Title** Data Assistant (Various Languages) – 3‑month contract **Role Summary** Verify, validate, and maintain higher‑education data from international institutions. Provide customer support, resolve data issues, and ensure compliance with internal quality standards. Operate in a hybrid schedule, with occasional early/late hours for client calls. **Expectations** - Contract: 3 Nov 2025 – 30 Jan 2026 (3 months) - Hybrid work: 1–2 days per week onsite in London, remainder remote - Pay: £14 per hour - Must pass the required assessment before first‑stage interview **Key Responsibilities** 1. Verify accuracy and completeness of incoming institutional data. 2. Record and track data validation activities. 3. Escalate and resolve data issues in collaboration with Data Supervisors, Editors, Operations Manager, and Delivery Managers. 4. Meet predefined data validation targets. 5. Support data queries and administrative tasks. 6. Engage institutions in the ranking process. 7. Handle customer queries and complaints via phone/email, determine root cause, recommend solutions, and follow up to resolution. 8. Conduct customer service calls as required for the data collection cycle. 9. Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies. 10. Perform additional duties as assigned. **Required Skills** - Fluency (written & verbal) in one of: Japanese, Portuguese, Hindi/Tamil, Urdu, Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, Uzbek, Ukrainian, Korean, Indonesian. - Professional, clear communication in English and one of the specified languages. - Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of independent work. - Prior customer‑support experience. - Data entry proficiency. - Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. - Customer orientation and adaptability to diverse personalities. **Required Education & Certifications** - No formal degree required. - Must successfully complete and pass the assessment required for consideration.
