Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Accountant Role Summary: Support the Tuition and Travel Unit within the Active and Pension Payroll Services Division by processing travel and tuition reimbursements, managing payroll garnishments, recording accounting entries, and ensuring compliance with state policies and regulations. Expectations: - Detail‑driven, solutions‑oriented accounting professional. - Able to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment. - Strong problem‑solving skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies. - Effective communicator and collaborator with agency staff, employees and stakeholders.
