Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead architectural design, implementation, and governance of ServiceNow solutions to meet enterprise business objectives. Provide strategic guidance, mentor development teams, and ensure high‑quality, repeatable ServiceNow deployments across ITSM, ITOM, and related modules.
Expections:
- Global or regional scope with travel as required.
- Availability for after‑hours support on a rotating basis.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive ServiceNow strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Architect and develop scalable ServiceNow applications using Agile best practices.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, lead problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce cost‑benefit analyses and recommend process enhancements.
- Select and manage ServiceNow plugins and third‑party integrations.
- Mentor and coach developers on coding standards, configuration management, and platform best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and solution architects to ensure seamless transition from design to deployment.
- Maintain IT lifecycle management, including design, testing, change, and release processes.
- Build trust with stakeholders by delivering clear, non‑technical communication of technical solutions and business impact.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, design patterns, and development lifecycle.
- Expertise in ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), workflow, Flow Designer, and integration (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with Agile/DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical, root‑cause, and problem‑resolution skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and written communication.
- Emotional intelligence, collaborative mindset, and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – minimum.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Architect) preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification beneficial.
